Plateia Suites (“we”, “us”) operates the website plateiasuites.com and the accommodation at Leof. Dimokratias 4, Zakynthos 291 00, Greece. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights regarding it, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What data we collect

When you submit our reservation or contact form, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, phone number, requested dates, number of guests, chosen suite, and anything you write in your message.

When you book with us, we may additionally collect information required to complete and document your stay, such as payment details and identification information required by Greek law for guest registration.

Why we collect it

We use your data to respond to your enquiries, manage your reservation, communicate with you before and during your stay, meet our legal obligations (such as tax and guest-registration requirements), and — only if you ask us to — send you information about future stays. The legal bases for this processing are the performance of a contract (your booking), our legal obligations, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries you send us.

What we don’t do

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing. Your data may be processed by the service providers we rely on to operate — such as our website hosting, email provider and, where applicable, payment processing — only to the extent needed to provide those services.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don’t lead to a booking are kept for up to one year, then deleted. Booking records are kept for as long as Greek tax and accounting law requires, and are deleted afterwards.
